Requirements: Diploma in Chemical Engineering Biochemistry or a related field experience in analytical lab testing
Project Description: In semiconductor manufacturing maintaining quality is critical to product reliability. This project aims to integrate analytical chemistry methods to enable earlier drift detection. The intern will work with chemical test data from incoming materials and blanket process control points applying analytical techniques and statistical charting to identify trends outliers and potential risks. The intern will gain hands-on experience in quality assurance data interpretation and chemical analysis tools- Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) Inductively Coupled Plasma/Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES). They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new lab capability dashboards and reporting tools that support continuous improvement.
Scope/Responsibility: Perform chemical analysis and validation of lab test data. Implement statistical process control (SPC) and machine learning models for drift detection. Correlate chemical test results with inline and final product quality metrics. Develop visualization tools for chemical quality monitoring. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Deliverable: Develop new lab capability to advance detection capabilities. Create a dashboard or reporting tools to drive lab operation efficiency and improve productivity.
