Job Summary

This position reports to the hub agency manager. Will be required to cooperate closely with hub agents procurement and head of governance.

Formal Authorities

The position has the authority to act within this Functional Description agreed budgets and within the chart of authority as outlined in the companys Global Integrated Management System (GIMS).

Main responsibilities

Monitor upcoming port calls involving suppliers and verify their compliance status before vessel arrival.

Conduct checks and screenings of suppliers against OFAC and other compliance databases

Alert relevant stakeholders in case of changes in supplier compliance status

Ensure supplier documentation is up-to-date and meets regulatory and internal requirements.

Coordinate with Procurement and Hub Agents to validate supplier credentials and approvals.

Maintain accurate records of compliance checks and supplier status.

Escalate non-compliance issues to Compliance team and initiate required actions.

Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance monitoring processes and tools

Accountabilities

Timely identification and reporting of non-compliant suppliers

Accuracy and completeness of compliance checks prior to port calls.

Documentation and traceability of compliance verification in communicating with stakeholders

Compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements

Effective communication and escalation of compliance risks.

Support in maintaining supplier integrity and operational safety

Qualifications

Project management experience is an advantage

Familiarity with finance processes and our systems are required (WASP IFS)

Experience in communicating with stakeholders

Fluency in English both verbal and in writing

Working knowledge of secondary language is an advantage

Experience in powerbi is required
