Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic delivery project team in Horten. If youre passionate about cutting-edge sonar technology and want to contribute to meaningful maritime innovation this is your opportunity.

As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring successful project deliveries and supporting our advanced sonar systems in the this role you will work closely with project managers engineers and customers to bring our solutions to life from lab testing to sea trials.

What you will be doing
- Collaborate with project managers and product teams on delivery projects
- Install and integrate sonar systems for testing and verification
- Conduct system testing in lab and on-board test vessel
- Perform operational testing of software and hardware configurations
- Provide maintenance and customer support post-delivery
- Develop and execute test procedures (FAT STW HAT SAT)
- Participate in customer acceptance testing and training
- Maintain technical documentation and course materials
- Manage service agreements and follow up on NAVAL service assignments
- Some travel as part of the role
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with sonar systems (35 years preferred)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybernetics Automation Electronics or Systems Engineering (Relevant experience can outweigh formal requirements)
- Strong technical understanding and a proactive solution-oriented mindset
This position requires clearance from the Norwegian National Security Authority. You may begin with limited access while clearance is processed.
