Your Role:
- Be a dynamic part of the English team collegially creating rich learning experiences that strengthen students academically and with their general dispositions.
- Previous experience is desirable or a capacity to create resources assessment tasks and lessons that align with the new Stage 4-5 English Syllabus including the meaningful inclusion of technology and project-based learning experiences where applicable.
- Have the capacity and willingness to teach all Stage 6 courses and knowledge of syllabus requirements as well as an understanding of NESA requirements for Stage 6 English Courses.
- Have strong communication skills with the demonstrated ability to build strong connections with students staff and the wider school community.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship as well as the following skills and experience:

- be an excellent classroom practitioner and communicator;

- possess strong interpersonal skills valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- collaborate with colleagues in developing integrated learning experiences for junior students;
- have experience with Stage 6 learning including teaching the New Stage 6 Syllabus (and demonstrated success);
- be committed to their own professional learning and growth;
- be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing your faith;
- have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents; and
- be willing to actively contribute to the extra-curricular life of the College.
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification and current NESA registration or eligibility for registration
