Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technologist to join our Innovation Center. This role is responsible for the end-to-end development of innovative food and beverage products with expertise in dairy plant-based and functional beverages. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen hands-on lab experience and the ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept to commercialization.

General Responsibilities

  • Lead R&D projects across multiple categories: dairy products plant-based beverages functional drinks gummies jellies and nutraceutical formats.
  • Develop new formulations and prototypes and conduct lab/pilot-scale testing to validate product feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to translate concepts into viable products that meet consumer needs.
  • Conduct consumer testing (e.g. CLT) analyze sensory feedback and optimize formulations accordingly.
  • Support production scale-up troubleshoot process issues and ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Source and evaluate new raw materials and ingredients in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation including specifications reports and regulatory dossiers.
  • Support food safety and quality management systems: GMP HACCP ISO 9001/14001 FSSC 22000.
  • Participate in internal audits and provide technical expertise for quality and compliance initiatives.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 4-10 years of experience in R&D or product development in the food industry.
  • Proven track record in developing products such as high-protein milk plant-based drinks RTD beverages and functional foods.
  • Strong understanding of food processing formulation and ingredient functionality.
  • Hands-on experience in sensory testing and consumer research methodology.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety systems (GMP HACCP FSSC22000) and familiarity with registration processes.
  • Good communication and presentation skills; ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic analytical/reporting tools.
  • Moderate to good English proficiency (written and verbal).

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Food Science Agro-Industry Food Technology or a related field.
