The Role
As a Payroll Specialist at Fastned youll help ensure that our colleagues across Europe are paid accurately and on time. Youll join our payroll team in Amsterdam working closely with another Payroll Specialist and reporting to the Payroll Lead. Together youll manage payroll operations across multiple countries in close collaboration with our People Operations and Finance teams.
Your day-to-day will be a mix of operational tasks and internal support. Youll review and process payroll data handle monthly journal entries in NetSuite and take care of reconciliations. Youll also be the go-to person for payroll-related questions from colleagues responding via our Jira ticketing system with accuracy and care. Maintaining employee records and supporting audits and reports will also be part of your regular responsibilities.

Job requirements
Who You Are
Youre accurate trustworthy and have a natural head for numbers. You enjoy working in a dynamic international environment and are eager to learn and grow. You handle sensitive information with care and always strive to provide excellent service.
You bring:
2 years of experience in international payroll
A solid accounting background and strong numerical skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Fluency in German is a strong plus; Dutch is a nice-to-have
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive mindset and fast learning ability
Experience with Excel and payroll software is a plus
A high level of discretion when handling confidential information
Great interpersonal and communication skills
