Join our lab as Temporary (Senior) Scientist Medicinal Chemistry Accelerate Cancer Drug Discovery
(Senior) Scientist Medicinal Chemistry (temporary position) 2x
Start date: to be discussed duration: 6 months
Location: Pivot Park Oss Netherlands
Fulltime (min. 32 hours/week) 100% Lab-based
Make an immediate impact in drug discovery
Were looking for two experienced Medicinal Chemists or Organic Synthetic Chemists to support our chemistry team during a period of peak workload. Youll work hands-on in our state-of-the-art labs in Oss contributing to the development of new cancer treatments in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
What youll do
Design and synthesize novel small molecules
Apply SAR and computational tools
Run purification and analytical techniques (HPLC NMR MS)
Keep clear experimental records and share results
Work closely with scientists from other disciplines
To qualify for this temporary position you must:
Live within 1 hour travel distance from Oss (Netherlands)
Hold a PhD or Master in Medicinal Chemistry or HLO (Hoger Laboratorium Onderwijs) degree
Have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in a medicinal chemistry lab
Hold an EU passport
Be available to start no later than 1st October

In addition AstraZeneca and Acerta Pharma are collaborating on many other innovative medicines to treat haematological malignant diseases.
