Who We Are:
Revenue Finance provides insight into Xs business using financial models built on strong relationships. We engage directly with both senior management and front-line sales to understand the drivers of Xs revenue and how to optimize that revenue. As such you will need to:

What Youll Do:

  • Build models to analyze complex and sometimes ambiguous business issues: revenue forecasting market sizing compensation structures product launches

  • Analyze financial performance to advertiser needs and provide compelling cases for action to senior sales management

  • Deduce insights from sales and metrics data to drive sales strategy

  • Work closely with Sales management and Sales Ops team to create revenue growth plans establish financial and operating targets and determine optimal resource requirements

  • Use metrics and analytics to identify growth risks and opportunities and influence business partners to drive timely decision making

  • Work with key stakeholders to create draft and communicate policies to facilitate smoother operations and improve decision-making

  • Work with large data sets synthesize insights and present recommendations to executives

  • Design and implement reporting tools for your business partners

  • Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights not just data

  • Streamline processes and increase bandwidth within the Revenue Finance team through automation and outsourcing

  • Be a key strategic partner to senior sales leadership in Japan and work collaboratively with other Sales Finance team members globally

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English is required for this role to effectively communicate with stakeholders in bilingual environments.

  • Bachelors degree with a strong academic record

  • At least 10 years of experience preferably in investment banking management consulting or FP&A

  • Experience in the tech industry a near requirement

  • Experience in ad sales ad tech or other advertising related industry a strong plus

  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex ROI analysis

  • Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries and pulling data from relational databases

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and effectively influence senior business partners

  • Superior Excel/Google Docs and financial modeling skills

  • Experience manipulating complex and large data sets

  • Tableau and R / Python / Git are a plus

  • Knowledge of digital ad space; knowledge of social media is a plus
