We are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Professional to our recruiting team. This person will contribute to the groups growth by helping to identify and evaluate candidates to join our team as portfolio managers researchers and software developers. The ideal candidate will learn quickly and enjoy a high degree of autonomy in our fast paced high engagement environment.
Work with our existing talent acquisition team candidates and various groups across the firm to assist in the full life cycle of the recruitment process
Work with Portfolio Management teams to generate job specifications and skills requirements to support their research efforts
Manage relationships with a subset of our external recruitment firms
Establish and maintain relationships with universities and student groups
Assist in the standardization of interview evaluation summaries and creation of interview training materials
Collaborate in developing new strategies for sourcing and evaluating potential candidates
Survey the recruiting landscape to determine market trends and identification of talent
Develop long term relationships with a range of talented individuals in the space
Gather and outline objectives for each open position with the hiring manager to develop accurate job descriptions qualifications and required skills; screen candidates; and help formulate offers
An academic background in a quantitative discipline or coming from a related field
A BS or MS in finance statistics engineering or computer science is preferred along with 3 years of work experience
The ability to independently manage multiple long-term and short-term projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence; we seek a demonstrated ability to build relationships both internally and externally
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to perceive nuance in verbal interactions
Strong written communication skills
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
Non-English language skills (especially Mandarin) are valuable but not a requirement
