Seven years of experience in the issuance maintenance or reinstatement of licenses; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in the issuance maintenance or reinstatement of licenses; OR
A bachelors degree plus four years of experience in the issuance maintenance or reinstatement of licenses; OR
An advanced degree plus three years of experience in the issuance maintenance or reinstatement of licenses.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and administrative oversight for all Enforcement Division activities.
Manage the intake referral and investigation of complaints involving licensed and unlicensed contractors.
Review investigative reports evidence and hearing materials to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with laws and regulations.
Prepare and present enforcement cases to the Licensing Board and Residential Building Subcommittee.
Collaborate with Board attorneys and other legal professionals on case strategy settlements and compliance issues.
Oversee the preparation and issuance of legal documents including Notices of Violation Cease and Desist Orders and Board Findings.
Act as a key liaison between the Board contractors permit offices law enforcement and other stakeholders.
Supervise train and evaluate Licensing Analyst Supervisors and administrative staff within the Enforcement Division.
Develop and implement policies procedures and long-range plans related to enforcement activities.
Compile statistical data and performance metrics for reporting purposes including the agencys annual report.
Coordinate enforcement efforts with the Licensing Division to maintain regulatory consistency.
Assist with special investigations and projects as assigned by executive leadership.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Promotional - Only Applicants who are current permanent Classified employees of the contractors board will be considered.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
