Role Overview
Lead a team within the procurement department focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier management to drive cost savings improve supplier performance and ensure high-quality materials and services. This role involves managing supplier relationships negotiating contracts and developing sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes identify cost-saving opportunities and support sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to meet business goals.
- Leading negotiations with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and value.
- Overseeing supplier selection performance evaluation and relationship management.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align procurement strategies with company needs.
- Driving initiatives for continuous improvement in sourcing efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and sustainability standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Strong negotiation analytical and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
