Job Summary
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation particularly with JavaScript and will contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards in our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts using JavaScript and other test automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Design and build API automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Utilize BDD frameworks such as Cucumber to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Conduct API testing to ensure robust and reliable interfaces.
- Contribute to performance security and compatibility testing as needed.
- Maintain and manage version control using GitHub or similar tools.
- Continuously improve and expand automation capabilities and tools.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Proficiency in automation tools and JavaScript.
- Experience with BDD frameworks particularly Cucumber.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium.
- Strong background in API testing and automation.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests.
- Working knowledge of version control systems like GitHub.
- Knowledge or experience with Katalon is a plus.
- Experience with non-functional testing including performance and security is preferred.
