AWS Cloud Engineer

As an AWS Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS. At SnapSoft we perform end-to-end delivery from architecture design to implementation where you can be part of constructing the cloud infrastructure of international companies mainly in fintech aviation telco and edtech industries. With your expertise you will help our customers achieve and maintain robust availability resilience and scalability in their cloud-based products while ensuring their infrastructures security and compliance.

What youll be doing:

• Designing and building AWS infrastructure and landing zone

• Describing infrastructures using Terraform (Terragrunt) or AWS CloudFormation

• Migrating customer workloads from on-prem/GCP/Azure/Heroku environments

• Reviewing and remediating customers cloud solutions applying AWS Well-Architected Frameworks principles and best practices

• Participating in technical and business discussions with stakeholders

• Designing building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in multiple integration and test environments

• Staying up-to-date with the AWS innovations and achieving Associate/Professional/Specialty level certifications based on personal interest

• Contributing to AWS Competency and Service Delivery Program to support SnapSofts AWS Partner journey

You are looking for us if you have:

• 2 years of experience in designing deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS

• 1 years of experience in at least one Infrastructure as a Code technology like Terraform (preferred) AWS CloudFormation Ansible AWS CDK or similar

• 1 years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab Bitbucket or similar)

• 1 years of experience in creating and running container-based applications using Docker (Kubernetes/EKS knowledge is a plus)

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS load balancers firewalls VPN) and related AWS Services (CloudFront API Gateway VPC Route 53 ELB)

• Strong understanding of security concepts (IAM PoLP Access Control Endpoint Security Data Encryption)

• In-depth knowledge of standard AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda ECS

• Excellent problem-solving skills for use-case-specific architecture design and implementation

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• AWS Associate/Professional/Specialty Certification is a plus
