Job Description
We are seeking an Aerospace Engineer to design develop and test aerospace systems including aircraft missile and launcher subsystems. This role provides technical oversight for system requirements testing and risk management while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and test missile and launcher systems & subsystems and their training assets.
- Integrate missile and launcher systems and subsystems on various aviation and ground platforms.
- Provide technical oversight for program and system requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and manage interface documentation.
- Lead or support testing activities and technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
- Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years related aerospace engineering experience.
- Experience with US Army missile and Launcher systems and test sets.
- Active DoD secret clearance.
- Experience in aerospace systems design testing or program engineering.
- Knowledge of propulsion structures and guidance/control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work across teams and with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering and Technical Management Certification
