Job Description

The Risk Analytics team has global responsibility to develop and maintain scenario design credit and market models for the management of credit and market risk exposure arising from the Firms business activities. The group also provides support for internal clients with quantitative analyses and solutions.

As part of the Risk Analytics group the Risk Analytics Solutions and Platform team is responsible for providing platforms for model delivery and automation and for implementing the Firms Risk Management AI strategy.

You will:

  • Designs and implements cutting-edge software libraries/APIs development and execution environments for quantitative model developers and risk managers

  • Designs AI tools that enhance the efficiency of the Firms risk management processes and help risk managers to gain new insights

  • Collaborates and interacts with risk managers model reviewers and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Operates as part of a global team located on three continents

  • Contribute as a team-leader and as a hands-on software designer and developer.


You have:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience

  • A post-graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics Mathematical Finance Physics Computer Science Statistics Econometrics or Engineering or equivalent

  • Strong software design and development skills in one or more modern mainstream languages (Python Java C C#)

  • Good understanding and experience of modern software development processes and best practices

  • Good understanding of financial concepts and products

  • Strong interest in AI/ML technologies and good understanding of basic AI concepts

  • Clear thinking good business sense and judgment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent command of English both written and verbal

  • Ability to communicate with both specialist and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strategic mindset
