About the role:
Were looking for a dynamic Manager to co-lead the delivery of our Central Events programme and drive the strategic execution of medium to large scale events across PwC. Reporting into the Head of Event Delivery this role blends creative planning with operational leadership with a focus on team management resource allocation and continuous improvement. Youll play a key role in shaping how we deliver impactful brand-aligned experiences for our stakeholders.
What your days will look like:
- Oversee comprehensive delivery of medium-large scale events managing aspects such as scoping planning budgeting logistics AV/production supplier coordination onsite execution and post-event review.
- Project managing events and attending meetings to detail strategy and operational delivery. You will be expected to manage and work on multiple projects at once
- Co-manage the central events team providing leadership and direction and ensuring efficient team operations alongside the Head of Event Delivery and co-manager.
- Oversee and lead the project team by providing guidance mentoring and coaching to foster professional development identify growth opportunities and align team skills with project with internal stakeholders to define event objectives and metrics maintain strong interdepartmental and supplier relationships and enhance stakeholder experience and team efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clearly define project objectives and key performance indicators maintain robust interdepartment and supplier relationships and improve stakeholder engagement and project team quality and brand standards across events share best practices and engage in value-focused discussions to align event activities with business objectives and KPIs.
This role is for you if:
- Extensive experience in managing complex high-profile events at medium to large scale preferably within a Professional Services environment
- Demonstrable experience and a passion for people management including line management coaching and development.
- Experience with project management and delivering quality functions involving senior stakeholders/partner/C-suite level individuals
- Demonstrated expertise in cultivating relationships and effectively influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align project objectives and drive strategic initiatives.
- Commercially minded project manager with a strong focus on delivering value and maximizing ROI through effective resource optimization and strategic and creative committed to innovation and enhancing services
- Skilled at challenging the status quo and implementing strategic changes to improve delivery methodologies and optimize project results
- Proactive and innovative approach to project management dedicated to advancing services and fostering continuous improvement within project frameworks
