Responsibilities:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) youll provide essential support to individuals with disabilities helping them live meaningful independent lives. Key duties include:
- Care & Support: Assist with daily living activities personal care meal prep and medication management.
- Emotional Support: Encourage independence and provide companionship and encouragement.
- Community Engagement: Plan and participate in community-based activities social events and outings.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress health and incidents.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license required (except for overnight shifts).
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is a plus.
- Compassion patience and a desire to positively impact others.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
