Job Summary (List Format):
- Assist in the efficient development of BMS (Battery Management System) software control algorithms for electrification projects
- Conduct MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and in-application testing for BMS software integration
- Troubleshoot and analyze controls software issues to determine root causes and propose solutions
- Perform data analysis across various test protocols (Conformance Performance Validation)
- Conduct model reviews using Simulink
- Carry out HIL bench tests for BMS software using OPAL-RT
- Support battery system performance and validation lab tests for software releases
- Ensure data quality test result integrity and repeatability in battery system testing
- Write and present test procedures reports and outcomes
- Author controls feature requirements and develop Simulink models
- Evaluate control features using MIL SIL and HIL methodologies
- Perform controls integration and system development with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) tools
- Develop and optimize controls calibration for BMS
- Provide on-site support for battery lab and on-machine validation of BMS software
- Troubleshoot and author NPI (New Product Introduction) issues and lead resolution efforts
- Use technical tools such as MATLAB/Simulink GIT Jira MathWorks tools (Requirements Manager System Composer Simulink Design Verifier)
- Collaborate effectively as a self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
- Requires at least 2 years of hands-on BMS or electrification industry experience (not internships or academic)
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Computer Aerospace or related Engineering field
