We are hiring a Software Engineer with a keen interest in creating user-friendly applications to join our team who is passionate about developing high-quality software; Someone that can contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle and who understands the importance of a good user interface in the overall user experience.

AutoStore has been a game-changer in warehouse automation. Our Consoleis the users gateway to harnessing the full potential of AutoStore. As a GUI application with a robust C backend Console is utilized by thousands of users every day including superusers service technicians and AutoStores employees.

Task and Responsibilities:

  • Apply your C and Qt expertise to help advance our software to the next level

  • Take part in cross-functional projects within the Software Engineering team driving the development of new features and enhancing existing functionality in our Console application

  • Collaborate with UX designers and test engineers to deliver intuitive reliable and high-quality user interfaces

You are a great fit for this role if you bring:

  • 3 years of experience as a C developer and problem solver; experience with the Qt framework is a plus

  • Masters or Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.

  • Comfortable working with GitLab CI/CD pipelines SonarQube and unit testing

  • Engaged in the full software development lifecycle from idea to deployment with a curious mindset and keen attention to detail Skilled at identifying and addressing technical debt with solid communication and collaboration skills in team settings
