We are hiring a Software Engineer with a keen interest in creating user-friendly applications to join our team who is passionate about developing high-quality software; Someone that can contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle and who understands the importance of a good user interface in the overall user experience.
AutoStore has been a game-changer in warehouse automation. Our Consoleis the users gateway to harnessing the full potential of AutoStore. As a GUI application with a robust C backend Console is utilized by thousands of users every day including superusers service technicians and AutoStores employees.
Task and Responsibilities:
Apply your C and Qt expertise to help advance our software to the next level
Take part in cross-functional projects within the Software Engineering team driving the development of new features and enhancing existing functionality in our Console application
Collaborate with UX designers and test engineers to deliver intuitive reliable and high-quality user interfaces
You are a great fit for this role if you bring:
3 years of experience as a C developer and problem solver; experience with the Qt framework is a plus
Masters or Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
Comfortable working with GitLab CI/CD pipelines SonarQube and unit testing
Engaged in the full software development lifecycle from idea to deployment with a curious mindset and keen attention to detail Skilled at identifying and addressing technical debt with solid communication and collaboration skills in team settings
