Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) 3 shifts/week (36 hours)
Hourly Rate Range: $32 $53

This Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the newly expanding Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping patient care standards in a state-of-the-art unit that caters to high-acuity patients.

As an RN in this unit you will work closely with intensivists Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment care planning intervention and evaluation in alignment with the Texas Nursing Practice Act.

• Deliver high-quality evidence-based nursing care to Intermediate Care/PCU patients.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and document patient responses.

• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team including physicians APPs and support staff.

• Provide safe delegation and supervision of tasks to unlicensed personnel.

• Uphold nursing standards and adhere to all hospital and state regulations.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Active RN license in the State of Texas.

• Minimum 1 year of recent IMCU/PCU experience in a Level I or II Trauma hospital.

• BLS Certification (must obtain within 30 days if not already certified).

• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Must be nicotine-free.
