The Project Manager for the GE Appliances Salesforce B2B Sales Console is responsible for implementing projects and programs that will achieve Sales strategy as it relates to the Salesforce B2B Sales Console. They will also act as a key Salesforce Super User for the Sales team providing as needed Salesforce Sales/Commercial Goods Cloud support to the Commercial Organization.

Success metrics include delivering the scope and business deliverables of the programs or projects on-time on budget and that the results are sustained with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) metrics roles and responsibilities and control plans in place. The Salesforce Project Manager will ensure the proper business approval processes are used for the process and procedure changes and that the changes are documented communicated and accepted by all impacted team members customers and consumers using proper Change Management tools.

This role will report to the Principal Program Manager Salesforce.

How Youll Create Possibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and commercial operations stakeholders to specify and implement assigned projects via Salesforce Sales Cloud Consumer Goods Cloud for Retail Execution and other Salesforce products that support the sales team at GE Appliances.

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and subsequently partner with DT to design solutions which could result in individual change request tickets or larger projects encompassing many tickets.

    • Ensure all changes meet requirements are of high-quality and follow established change processes and controls.

    • Drive Salesforce Sales product launches through the entire product lifecycle including business readiness training and adoption considerations dependency management reporting and operational handoff. This will require holding support teams accountable to timelines and deliverables.

    • Keep leadership informed on both status of project and roadblocks to progress.

  • Act as Salesforce Sales Super User providing as needed support to business teams on existing Salesforce functionality. Includes supporting training manager as needed with training creation or execution.

  • Engage in channel business reviews to identify opportunities where Salesforce automation can positively impact the commercial teams effectiveness and/or efficiency.

  • Partner with Salesforce to ensure GE Appliances is aware of new/existing functionality and product offerings and present GE Appliances leadership with opportunities to advance their goals via these product offerings.

  • Assist in creating training materials including videos and written materials.

  • Help ensure data (related to accounts opportunities leads etc) has quality control and retention plans.

  • Participate in the efforts of sales effectiveness projects and other duties as assigned.

What Youll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in areas such as business operations (i.e. Sales or IT operations) project management program/system management and/or other highly relevant experience

  • Prior experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud or Consumer Goods/Retail Execution Cloud

  • Prior project management experience

Preferred Characteristics

  • Detail oriented. Many situations will require thoughtful consideration of details and potential solutions to ensure what is delivered meets the needs of the requestor

  • Proven ability to influence various leadership levels

  • Strong organization skills

  • Able to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Sales and/or operations experience

  • Practical experience using AI to increase personal capacity
