Job Description

** This is a long-term substitute position with an anticipated need from mid-November 2025 through mid-April 2026 **The role of the School Social Worker is to provide counseling and help to students parents and school staff to address the psychological social and emotional development of students on IEPs specifically students with disabilities. The School Social Worker will also work with outside support services or agencies to assist those students who may need additional support outside of school. This individual will work with students across the K-8 grade span as determined by student need and the input of the School Psychologist. The Social Worker will work closely with students and families as well as faculty and staff at opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts. As a K-8 school our mission is to assist parents in their role as primary educators of their children by providing students with a classical academic education coupled with sound character development and community service.
