PURPOSE

  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions integrating finance operations forecasting and budgeting handling tax matters preparing financial reports and ensuring organizational financial stability to GM/Thailand Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES

  • Managing all finance and accounting operations Including Billing A/R A/P GL and Counsel Cost Accounting Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances.
  • Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Managing and complying with local state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
  • Preparing financial reports.
  • Analyzing financial data.
  • Monitoring internal controls.
  • Overseeing and preparing income statements.
  • Participating in budgeting processes.
  • Managing financial transactions.
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
  • Developing plans for financial growth.
  • Evaluating and managing risk.
  • Coordinating audit processes.
  • Following all companys procedures.
  • Additional controller duties as necessary.
  • Acting as on-site company representative for communication with customers.
  • Conducting all activities following QHSE policies.

QHSE Responsibilities

  • Following company procedures.
  • Following QHSE Management Plan.
  • Following QSHE capitalizes from Lessons Learned and is performed following best practices striving to mitigate risk and promoting safety and integrity consistently.
  • Ensuring safe working practices and action taken if unsafe practices are observed.
  • Following QHSE targets through clearly understood roles responsibilities and performance objectives regular feedback and continuing professional training.
Qualifications
  • Must possess at least a Bachelors degree in Finance or Accountant.
  • A Masters Degree or doctorate with specialized knowledge to advance in the upstream oil and gas field would be a high consideration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • At least 5 Years of working experience in a financial controller position is required.
  • Experienced with a financial controller position in the upstream oil and gas business would be a plus.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Be Financially focused.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail.
  • Detailed-oriented hard-working and with high integrity and can-do attitude.
  • Computer literacy; in all Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ethics Integrity and Trust.
  • Time Management Customer Focus Oral Communication and Presentation Skills Written Communication Skills Peer Relationships and Interpersonal Skills.
