Job Summary
Provide retail sales and customer services within the Campus Stores. Process merchandise sales to include operating the point-of-sale systems and cash registers. Assist customers with locating merchandise help receive merchandise into the store maintain stockrooms in an orderly manner and provide assistance within other areas of the Campus Stores.
Supervision
This position reports to the General Manager of Campus Stores.

Essential Duties
Qualifications
High School diploma and one-year of retail cashiering experience with a strong attention to detail; good interpersonal written and verbal communication skills the ability to work well with the public with an emphasis on customer service; ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; basic skills and working knowledge of computer operating systems and their usage including a retail point-of-sale operating system and demonstrated ability to operate a computerized register/terminal; flexibility to work evenings and weekends are required.
Work Environment
Most of the work of the incumbent is carried out within a generally accessible safe indoor incumbent will be required to operate a point-of-sale system as well as other computer-related equipment. The incumbent will be required to bend and kneel and lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds. The incumbent will be required to work some nights and weekends in support of campus events.
