Who are we looking for
Were looking for a HVAC Engineer to join our Building Services team to develop and complete the technical components for a range of Building Services projects including feasibility studies concept and detailed design projects. There will be significant emphasis on the development and delivery of the HVAC services for multidiscipline projects. Design as well as Design Drafting will be a key focus. Preference will be given to engineer who also has experience in energy modelling.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design of HVAC engineering projects for internal clients predominantly in the Building Services space including using design software as required to develop and deliver technically excellent HVAC designs and prepare drawings as required
- Provide technical / design expertise into projects as required and manage the activities of engineering and support staff in this area
- Support and lead where assigned in report writing investigation and technical analysis of client deliverables
- Monitor the technical soundness of the design deliverables and promote continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the related service line business plan
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities on projects
- Accountable for deliverables that meet client expectations and for project Quality HSE and IMS performance
- Work in accordance with the Limits of Authority
What you will bring to the team:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience preferably in a consulting environment
- Sound knowledge in the use of industry standard calculation packages for HVAC design (CAMEL / HAP) and energy modelling (IES or design builder)
- Proven experience and a sound understanding of current HVAC building services engineering technologies
- Proven experience in the management of HVAC building services engineering projects
- Sound knowledge in HVAC design standards and on Australian standards relevant to HVAC services
- Sound knowledge in HVAC equipment sizing equipment selection specifications and report writing
- Sound knowledge in the use of industry standard drawing packages (AutoCAD Revit BIM360 Navisworks Bluebeam)
This job offer can be based either in Makati or Quezon City depending on your home base/location.
