About the role
We are seeking an experienced Partnership Manager to join our collaborative and dynamic Partner Services and Support team.
As the Partnership Manager you will play a pivotal role in outworking CAPs partnership strategy ensuring sustainable and effective service delivery across Aotearoa in partnership with locally based partners including churches community organisations and social service providers.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Identify and Develop Partnerships: Lead efforts to identify develop and onboard new service delivery partners expanding CAPs network and enhancing service outreach.
- Strengthen Existing Partnerships: Nurture and strengthen relationships with current partners ensuring alignment with CAPs mission and maximizing impact.
- Sales and Relationship Management: Apply best practices in sales account management and relationship management to foster collaboration and achieve desired impact through cultivating effective partnerships
- Identify develop and onboard new service delivery partners contributing to the identification and pipeline of potential service delivery partners
- Contribute to the strengthening of partnerships with existing service delivery partners
- Lead best practice in sales account management and relationship management to ensure CAP is achieving its desired impact through cultivating effective partnerships

Youll also bring relevant experience for the role:
- Values Alignment: Strong alignment with CAPs Christian philosophy organisational identity culture and values.
- Sales and Account Management: Demonstrated experience in sales and account management with sensitivity to working across diverse cultures.
- Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the social service and church landscapes in Aotearoa.
- Relationship Skills: Excellent influencing relationship-building and communication skills capable of inspiring action and resolving complex issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to tailor approaches to different audiences while maintaining core principles and non-negotiables.
- A strong personal alignment with the foundational Christian philosophy organisational identity culture and values of CAP
- Knowledge and experience of sales and account management practices including awareness of nuances working across cultures
- Knowledge and experience of the social service and church landscapes in Aotearoa
- Excellent influencing relationship-building and people skills with a proven track record of resolving complex issues with others
- Comfort and experience communicating to groups and inspiring action
- Ability to adapt to a situation or relationship so that the approach is appropriate to the audience while remaining true to key components or non-negotiables
