Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Manager to join our Tax team in Copenhagen Denmark.
The role
As our new Manager in the Tax team youll be part of a team of 9 highly skilled professionals. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality advice on all tax matters in the organization.
You will be involved in structuring internationally renewable energy investments and structuring the funds that we offer to our international investor base. and investment structuring work liaising with our tax advisors assisting in handling queries from our investors and supporting the tax team in their day-to-day activities.
In the Tax team you will play a key role in tax related structuring work and will collaborate cross-functionally with the investment team.
Key responsibilities will consist of:
Advice on international tax matters focusing on tax structuring and M&A related to investments globally
Assist the asset management team on project-related tax matters including funding capital structure and distributions
Provide insights into local tax regulations in relevant countries
Assist with structuring CIP managed funds and have dialog around tax issues with the investors
Lead coordinate and review deliveries from tax advisors in Denmark and internationally
Assist in investor communication and tax reporting
You
We seek a capable and structured professional with a solid academic background and a relevant masters degree in law or business.
The ideal candidate should possess at least seven years of pertinent professional experience having worked as a Lawyer within an internationally recognized law firm as a Tax Advisor at a prominent advisory firm or in an equivalent role at a sizable multinational corporation.
To effectively perform in this position you have knowledge and experience with international tax matters and transaction tax including experience with tax structuring.
