Job Description

Your Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to join our team as a Value Engineering Co-op within Sourcing from January - August 2026.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Gain hands-on experience using MRP software to perform cost analyses and explore cost-saving projects that make a real impact.

  • Develop technical skills with AutoDesk programs by designing parts using alternate manufacturing methods for real-world applications.

  • Collaborate directly with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to review update and create procurement standards that influence how we do business.

  • Build quality assurance expertise by inspecting purchased parts and materials to ensure they meet specifications drawings and company standards.

What You Should Have:

Experience

No previous job experience required.

3D modeling in any software.

Some Excel experience is preferred.

Education

Minimum of one year of undergraduate studies required.

Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $23/hour - $27/hour and may vary based type of position and school seniority.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists hands and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks. Work may be performed in companys setting home or hybrid.
