Overview
Responsible for all purchasing and warehouse operations and supervision of personnel in the Permian Region of West Texas. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the completion of the operations team requests daily while establishing a safe and efficient work environment for purchasing and warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for a wide variety of supply chain activities including sourcing purchasing supplier invoicing shipping delivering receiving of raw materials and/or finished goods warehouse management inventory management and maintaining all associated records.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Warehouse Coordinators provide assistance and guidance ensure compliance with HR policies and provide oversight on coordinating daily work and PTO.
- Oversee supervise and manage purchasing receiving warehouse inventory and material control operations.
- Oversee the cycle count process providing insight investigation and analysis to ensure no losses due to improper warehousing practices
- Gain knowledge acquire training and effectively manage the ERP system (IFS) to reflect the correct pricing costs quantity of materials.
- Create and implement operational policies and procedures to include tracking performance to optimize efficiency in operations to meet business needs.
- Evaluate and Analyze purchases quotes deliveries shipments and product levels to improve purchasing and inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to manage supply and demand of materials for the operations.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators and use all available resources to identify root causes and supply solutions to problems and issues.
- Integral Part of the Operations Team to improve overall business performance.
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationship
- Coordinate material forecast with suppliers to ensure supplier stock efficient for demand
- Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to Company policies and work requirements.
- Experience with MS Word Excel Power Point and Outlook.
Qualifications
- 5 years of purchasing warehouse and inventory management experience
- Excellent understanding of purchasing inventory and warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership organizational multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Willing to submit to pre-employment random and for-cause drug testing.
- Ability to effectively and regularly converse and comprehend in English.
