Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to the General Manager the Senior Manager End-to-End Supply Chain & Operations will lead our efforts to meet quality cost and schedule goals. You will be responsible for integrating supply planning procurement warehousing customer service and manufacturing operations while driving collaboration across functions including R&D QA/QC and Engineering. This role is crucial for ensuring reliable product availability flawless production execution and cost control in our highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply Chain Ownership
- Ensure coordinated planning sourcing and inventory strategies meet production and customer demands.
- Optimize supplier performance material flow and warehouse operations.
- Lead S&OP process execution driving balance across supply demand and capacity.
- Coordinate customer service to maintain delivery commitments and service levels.
Operations & Manufacturing Execution
- Deliver against the weekly and long-term production schedules.
- Ensure GMP-compliant execution of manufacturing processes.
- Manage area performance yield quality and efficiency across all shifts.
- Coordinate operational support functions and training initiatives.
GMP & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain GMP EH&S SOP/WI compliance across supply chain and manufacturing.
- Ensure documentation validations and audits meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional CAPA resolution and quality improvements.
People Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop 10 direct and 150 indirect reports.
- Promote a culture of ownership performance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular team reviews goal setting and succession planning.
- Champion cross-departmental collaboration to meet site objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- HBO/WO degree in Engineering Operations Supply Chain or Industrial Pharmacy.
- 10 years in pharmaceutical or food industry operations; 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Understanding of manufacturing/production
- Strong understanding of GMP nice to have is knowledge of FDA/EU regulations validation and quality systems.
- Proven application of 5S Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma tools.
- English is a must Dutch is a plus.
- Skilled in MS Office ERP/MES systems S&OP tools.
Working Conditions
- Mix of office cleanroom and manufacturing floor presence.
- Must meet physical requirements including standing walking and extended screen time.
- Domestic and international travel required (up to 10%).
- Availability for global calls and after-hours meetings as needed.
