Job Description
Volvo Cars NB Shop Hand- Immediate Opening
We are looking for a dependable and energetic Shop Hand / Runner to join our Parts and Service Department at our Volvo Cars NB location. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced premium automotive service environment.
Volvo Cars NB is part of Shift Auto Group Atlantic Canadas fastest growing auto group. Shift Auto Group consists of Miramichi Kia Fredericton Kia Volvo Cars New Brunswick 5 ReCar locations St Croix Auto Velocity Auto Body and 11 Wonder Auto & Tire locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with tire and wheel work including mounting and helping balance tires
Deliver and pick up tires wheel kits and parts throughout the Fredericton area
Move and transport vehicles as needed
Support technicians and parts advisors with daily shop operations
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Other general shop duties as required
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles (preferred)
Able to perform physical task (lift up to 50 lbs)
Basic automotive knowledge especially tire-related tasks
Reliable punctual and able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a team-player mindset
Compensation and Benefits: Hourly wage $19.00/ hour plus comprehensive medical health and dental benefits.
