Our client is a manufacturing of automotive parts.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Engineering Projects conducting time studies and collecting standard times. Developing work combinations for process preparation and control manufacturing processes.
- Identifying root causes of process defects and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Supporting the IATF16949 System by adhering to process flows control plans FMEA engineering technical standards and work standards and improving the JPH (jobs per hour) of the production line.
- Managing new projects to ensure quality budget control and adherence to timelines.
- Installing and trialling new machines or production lines to achieve process design goals such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) cycle time and reduction of process defects.
- Designing and preparing tooling and equipment to support current and new model production.
- Assisting in launching new models by coordinating with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) teams preparing documentation conducting trials and maintaining machine conditions.
- Managing change management reviews (PCR & ECR) and providing support.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a related field preferably in automotive engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing focusing on production process engineering and manufacturing engineering with expertise in machining tooling equipment jigs and fixtures.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Knowledge of Fin forming Aluminum stamping CAB brazing Aluminum surface treatment Helium leak testing and heat exchanger products would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in statistical methods and tools.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.
