Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain current test cases and plans ensuring alignment with requirements and policy alterations.
- Establish upkeep and enhance automated test frameworks and environments.
- Execute testing on novel features and document identified defects.
- Conduct a variety of tests including manual functional performance and exploratory tests.
- Engage in User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and contribute to resolving production cases.
- Active participation in all agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Degree in software engineering computer engineering electrical engineering or related Infocomm disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality testing with hands-on automation.
- Profound understanding of various testing techniques.
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
- Exposure to Java and Spring Boot frameworks would be advantageous.
- Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cucumber JUnit) or enterprise-level testing tools (e.g. HP Mobile Center HP UFT HP QC Sprinter).
- Familiarity with open-source performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling Locust) or enterprise-level testing tools (e.g. HP LoadRunner).
- Exposure to open-source penetration testing tools (e.g. ZAP Burp Suite SQL Map) or enterprise-level penetration testing tools (e.g. HP WebInspect Nessus CheckMarx).
- Previous work experience in an Agile environment would be beneficial.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a receptive listener.
- A proactive self-motivated attitude towards work.
