As part of the Commercial Sales Enablement team its our purpose to empower our Sales teams with the knowledge and content to close more business faster.
Is optimizing quote to cash processes configuring CPQ and refining the companys CPQ strategy something that excites you If yes then you could be our newly appointed Senior Quoting Consultant.
SimCorp is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quoting Consultant to join our Global Sales Operations team at SimCorp. This position will be essential in enhancing the quoting process overseeing the complete quote lifecycle and ensuring the integrity of quote data while assisting sales and customer success teams in the market units and identifying renewal opportunities in Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Conga (CPQ) and will work closely with Sales and the Commercial Operations team to drive accuracy efficiency and best practices in the quoting process.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Rebuilding Quotes from Contracts:
Analyze contracts to accurately rebuild quotes ensuring alignment with agreed terms and pricing.
Collaborate with legal and sales teams to ensure that quotes reflect the specific terms of the contract including discounts payment terms and other contractual obligations.
Continuously improve the process for rebuilding quotes to reduce turnaround times and enhance accuracy.
Quote Data Quality:
Maintain and improve the quality of quote data in Salesforce and Conga ensuring that all quotes are created tracked and stored properly.
Working with Sales Operations to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Perform regular audits and data cleansing to maintain the accuracy of quote data across systems.
Quote Support for Market Units:
Provide timely and high-quality quote support to market units ensuring that they have the necessary information and tools to create and present accurate quotes.
Act as a point of escalation for quote-related issues and work to resolve discrepancies or problems as they arise.
Recreating Renewal Opportunities:
Support the creation and management of renewal opportunities in Salesforce by ensuring that all relevant data is captured and accurately represented in Salesforce.
Work closely with Sales Managers and Customer Success Managers to recreate renewal quotes in a timely manner ensuring that all renewals are consistent with the terms of the original agreement and any amendments.
Salesforce & Conga Expertise:
Leverage expertise in Salesforce and Conga CPQ to streamline and automate the quoting process ensuring seamless integration between the tools.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Legal and IT to ensure alignment and smooth implementation of the quoting process.
Ensure that all quotes comply with internal policies guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Additional Requirements:
Comprehensive understanding of business operations
Customer-Focused Mindset
Customer-centric approach with the ability to understand end-users needs and translate them into effective Conga quoting solutions.

Experience:
Relevant experience as a Senior Quoting Consultant Quoting Specialist or in a similar sales operations role in a SaaS or technology company.
Extensive experience with Salesforce and Conga (or similar quoting tools) including process optimization and issue resolution.
Extensive experience with the end-to-end quoting lifecycle including contract analysis quote creation data management and renewal management.
Skills & Abilities:
Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage complex quoting processes.
Proficiency in Salesforce Conga and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with additional tools advantageous
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with global teams.
Highly developed problem-solving abilities alongside the skill to work through complex systems and procedures.
Proficient in balancing various demands and ensuring timely completion in an engaging workspace.
Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Administrator) and Conga certifications are advantageous
Eager to contribute high-quality deliverables and accomplish project aims.
Skilled in interpersonal communication ability to talk to all kinds of stakeholders.
Has effective time management and planning skills.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
