Job Summary
Excelsior Defense is looking for a professional Armed Security Officers to protect our clients premises assets and personnel. You will maintain a highly visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property of Apopka Housing. The goal is to detect deter observe and report. This position you would need to focus on patrolling the area to make sure no one breaks into apartments or cars.
- Protect companys property and staff by maintain a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detain any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Valid class D Security License & Valid Class G Security License active with the state of Florida (must have both License)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Monitor and control access at building entrances
Post Hours: 3pm to 9pm Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
