Job Duties:

DBVI provides a quality program of individualized rehabilitation services educational consultation technical assistance and instruction in adaptive techniques that empowers eligible consumers to achieve their desired levels of independence consistent with their abilities and informed choices through services that are well planned and coordinated and delivered by competent trained and highly qualified professionals.
DBVI is seeking a Pre-ETS Specialist to assist in the implementation of the Pre-Employment Transition Services program and ensuring access for students receiving Pre Employment Transition Services who are blind deaf-blind or vision impaired to career pathway opportunities; assist in coordinating DBVI resources as needed to support full participation by such individuals in Pre-ETS activities; assist in providing meaningful opportunities to assist students in setting short and long term goals and work collaboratively with the Pre-ETS and Career Pathways Coordinator to communicate with DBVI staff and regional offices to facilitate success among the Pre-ETS population.
Completes duties and/or projects as needed or directed by supervisor.
