What Youll Do:
- You will lead thetechnical management and delivery of renewable projects particularlyBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across all phasesfrom development (technology selection sizing feasibility) to design procurement installation commissioning and operations.
- You may also contribute topower generation opportunitiesincluding wind solar substations and transmission design.
- The role supports thegrowth of the Future Energy group includingbusiness development in the Philippines and collaboration withGHDs National Sector Lead for BESS.
- Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure project success and high satisfaction.
- Business Development: Drive new and repeat business in the Philippines Region; prepare proposals and bids; collaborate with Market and Business Group Leaders across disciplines (Environment Advisory PM).
- Project Management: Lead BESS and multidisciplinary projects as Project Director/Manager or Technical Lead; ensure delivery on time within budget and to high quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
- Provide technical leadership and QA/QC oversight.
- Share knowledge and contribute to GHDs global expertise.
What You Bring:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced studies/masters to be given preference)
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience in BESS projects. (exposure in a consulting environment as an advantage)
- Drive a high-performance culture through effective leadership and mentoring.
This position is also open to expatriates with reputable experience in the market in the Philippines under an international local hire arrangement.
This job offer can be based either in Makati or in our Quezon City office depending on your home base / location.
