Job Description
JOB TITLE: State Results Measurement Officer
JOB LOCATION:Nasarawa
ADVERTISEMENT
JOB DETAILS:
- Measurement evaluation and learning officer for each state to ensure program compliance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of a results-based M&E system for the project.
- Implement the results monitoring system to track project progress and achievements in the assigned state.
- Collect analyse and manage project data ensuring its accuracy and reliability. Prepare reports and presentations on project results.
- Coordinate and support project evaluations and assessments including baseline studies mid-term reviews and impact evaluations.
- Facilitate the documentation and sharing of lessons learned best practices and knowledge generated from the project.
- Ensure adherence to monitoring and evaluation standards and guidelines. Conduct regular quality checks on data collection and reporting processes.
- Provide training and technical support to project staff and stakeholders on monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on project results and outcomes as required by the project management and donor agencies.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders including government agencies partners and communities to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Establish and maintain a robust data management system ensuring data security confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Identify areas for improvement in the projects results management processes and recommend strategies for enhanced performance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant field such as Agriculture Development Studies Economics Statistics Project Management.
- At least three years of progressive experience in monitoring evaluation and learning in development projects. Experience in agriculture and rural development projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in data collection data quality checks and an ability to analyse and draw insights from data of various types (quantitative and qualitative) using various software.
- Experience in project management including the design planning implementation monitoring and evaluation of projects is essential. A recognised certificate in project management is preferred.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex data.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
