Job Description

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (several posts) in Accounting in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532738) to commence on July 1 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Accounting. Experienced candidates with outstanding teaching and research records are highly desirable particularly in teaching Masters or MBA courses. Applicants for appointment as Professor/Associate Professor should have a track record of internationally recognised scholarship and teaching.

The appointees are expected to deliver quality teaching and be committed to high-quality scholarly research and services. Information about the Faculty can be obtained at Enquiries about the posts (not application materials) can be made to Professor Xin Wang (e-mail: ).

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
