21GRAMS is looking for an Associate Creative Director Copy. They are looked to as a tone-setter and they know how to effectively work across departments to create great work. They are looked to as a foundational member of their brand teamwhen they leave a team that loss is felt.
This is a hybrid role based in any of our US officesincluding New York City Boston Chicago Carmel or San Franciscoor remotely within the US depending on team and business needs.
What youll do:
- You are a creative powerhouse and you have a keen instinct for what great work is and how to guide teams to get there
- You are a master of your own craft but you are able often able to provide feedback and oversight on both art and copy
- You are beginning to actively look for opportunities to grow your business organically
- You can oversee multiple brands and provide an appropriate level of support for each based on the scope creative potential and business needs of each
- You own the brands in your group and are responsible for all the work that is produced and in putting forth work that fuels growth for our clients
- You are responsible for overseeing the creative work on your brand(s) for making sure creative standards are met and that all copy is executed efficiently consistently and accurately
- You are a confident presenter and know how to make a strong case for an idea in order to sell it in and defend it to various stakeholders (eg internal team marketing team PRC team etc)
- You consistently contribute ideas (eg tactics concepts etc) that make it to the client presentation and you are beginning to provide input on larger workstreams such as concepting and tactical planning
- You are responsible for supervising both the work and the career growth of one or more members of the copy team on your brand(s)

What you should have:
- 10 years healthcare/pharmaceutical Copywriting
- Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry in an agency setting required
- Portfolio or PDF of relevant work samples required
- Must have Oncology experince
Pay Range: $165000 $180000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law compensation will be determined based on job-related non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience skills certifications and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
