Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and creating fashion designs including sketches patterns and prototypes aligning with seasonal trends and brand identity.
- Researching and analyzing fashion trends colours and materials to inspire new collections.
- Collaborating with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet quality standards.
- Conceptualizing and executing creative ideas to enhance the brands visual identity across all platforms.
- Ensuring consistency in design elements for campaigns lookbooks packaging and retail spaces.
- Designing visuals for advertising campaigns promotional materials and social media platforms.
- Creating content for digital and print media including banners posters emails and catalogues.
- Designing and overseeing in-store visuals displays and merchandising layouts to enhance customer experiences.
- Collaborating with store teams to implement creative concepts that align with the brands style.
- Working with cross-functional teams (e.g. merchandising marketing and sales) to deliver cohesive projects.
- Ensuring all designs and creative outputs meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Gathering feedback from stakeholders and customers to refine future designs.
Qualifications for Creative Designer (Fashion Retail):
- Bachelors degree in Fashion Design Graphic Design or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a fashion design director or in creative roles within the fashion industry (womens clothing).
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator).
- Strong skills in fashion illustration and graphic design.
- Understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics and awareness of current fashion trends.
- Ability to create designs that align with brand identity and market needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with teams.
- Experience with visual merchandising or in-store display design is a plus.
