The Opportunity
Design development of Electrical Services (LV & ELV) in various stage of building and/or other projects including tender conceptual and detail design stages; contract documentation authority submissions contract administration attending site meetings.
Providing design calculations drawings reports and specifications.
Hands on electrical services design for a range of projects and able to operate as an electrical services designer role for medium and large-scale projects.
To assist reviewing and preparation of general and specifications or project review contractors shop drawing and alternative design proposal.
Liaise with other discipline designers to resolve design development.
Supporting the firms compliance in maintaining ISO 9001 OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 requirement.
Delivery of projects and ensure that technical deliverables are on-time and within budget
Play an active role contributing to technical excellence in our Electrical Practice.
Opportunity to develop further as a leader and as a subject matter specialist. Lead and mentor graduate/junior engineers.
About you:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and or related field.
5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering/building services industry in a consulting firm essential.
Experience with BIM (Revit) skills ETAP VipCoda ProDesign Dialux or a willingness to learn computer modelling techniques/tools e.g.
Working towards professional or chartered engineering status.
Understanding of local regulatory and code requirements.
Motivated and enthusiastic with a growth mindset.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate complex issues and concepts clearly succinctly and with influence.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
A strong digital solutions drive with an interest and enthusiasm for sustainability.
Commercially astute with good client facing acumen who is open to new ideas and innovation.
