School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop hardware and software platforms for UAV swarm operation.
Develop modular architectures for multi-agent coordination sensing and communication.
Integrate sensor suites flight controllers and swarm coordination algorithms into UAV platforms.
Conduct field experiments and system validation for UAV swarm behaviours.
Prepare technical reports and contribute to publications and funding proposals.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Robotics or related fields.
Strong experience in UAV hardware design embedded systems and real-world flight testing.
Proficient in multi-agent system integration and middleware (e.g. ROS 2 PX4 MAVLink).
Hands-on experience with communication systems (e.g. Wi-Fi mesh 4G/5G UWB).
Familiarity with swarm algorithms and real-time control systems is highly desirable.
Strong programming skills in C/Python.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
