We are seeking a Research Assistant to investigate the effects of active components in toothpaste formulations on dental biofilms. The role involves advanced microscopy (including confocal imaging) and mechanical property testing of biofilms.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain dental biofilm models.
Perform confocal microscopy and other imaging techniques.
Assess mechanical properties of biofilms (e.g. rheology adhesion).
Analyze data and prepare reports.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Bioengineering Biophysics or related field.
Hands-on experience with microscopy techniques; familiarity with bacterial and biofilm cultivation.
Strong communication organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently under strict timelines.
