Job Description

KITE Search are working with one of the most recognised names in Hong Kong with an impressive history and a diverse real estate portfolio that includes residential hospitality leisure commercial and retail assets. We are currently looking for a Hong Kong based highly experienced Executive Critical Facilities Leader to oversee a large part of their portfolio with a key focus on essential critical facilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Reporting to the Head of Property Management this role will oversee a large team of Technical & Facilities Managers in managing the various corporate and public assets.

  • Degree in Building services Electrical Electronic Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management
  • Post-graduate in Business or Operations management
  • A member of IFMA RICS or equivalent
  • 15 years experience in the related technical fields with at least 8 years hands-on experiences in managing large-scale operations.
  • Technical experience in managing and maintaining mission critical assets such as Data Centers Power Generator Plant Power Plant Sports Complex Hospitality operations; with solid track record in start-up operations and maintenance management leading multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional teams on large-scale property and facilities operations.
  • Outstanding technical skills and experience in leading/managing complex building operations maintenance and assets upkeep.
  • Excellent leadership organizational managerial analytical problem-solving interpersonal communication facilitation negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with key stakeholders including colleagues within Property other departments and divisions
  • Ability to work independently and drive change a dependable leader with proven business maturity enthusiasm and can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of HKSARs FM industry from Government regulations on planning land and construction to a thorough appreciation of consultants contractors and suppliers

Key Factors:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the property team in managing a sustainable operation & maintenance model to the facilities assets systems and integrated
    services; and the overall management and delivery of the outsource service provider
  • Ability to think laterally and out of the box
  • Working closely with major stakeholders to analyse and prioritise asset replacement cycle and to recommend replacement strategy for continuous delivery of facilities services.
  • Standardise and simplify processes across teams to enhance quality management
  • Drive new technology to reduce manual process to increase productivity and a more sustainable operation
  • Awareness of an ever changing environment by the team and strive for constant improvement
