We are conveniently located near Hobarts CBD and famous waterfront offering 242 hotel rooms and spacious apartments along with Stockmans Restaurant the Baaa Bar and a comprehensive range of meeting and event facilities. Our vision is to provide our guests with unique Tasmanian hospitality experiences enjoyed and recommended by all. We also operate Hadleys Orient Hotel a 71-bedroom boutique heritage property in the heart of Hobarts CBD. There may be opportunities to work across both properties for the right candidate.
We are seeking motivated food and beverage attendants to join our food and beverage team on a casual basis. Led by our Guest Service Manager Lizzie Iles Stockmans Restaurant serves breakfast dinner and room service as well as catering for onsite events and visiting groups. We focus on local fresh ingredients with menus that reflect the tastes of Tasmania.
You will be responsible for serving our guests with an Old Woolstore home away from home experience that meets customer expectations service objectives and safety guidelines. You will enjoy providing exceptional guest experiences while maintaining an engaging and friendly approach to high quality service often under pressure. You will be someone who succeeds in a high-functioning team environment delivering events and bar and restaurant service.
Our preferred requirements:
RSA certificate
Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive and collaborative team relationships.
Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous
Flexibility is essential as shifts will include days evenings weekends and public holidays.
