General Objectives:
- Advises ambulatory and directors on clinical practice transformation initiatives and data analytics communicates status with Physician Operations and Performance Improvement leaders.
- Works with the Performance Improvement team to collect maintain and report key clinical performance indicators.
- Works with the Information Technology reports team to automate and share data summary dashboards.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes to enhance clinical care documentation and increase efficiency.
- Provides support and leadership in the development implementation analysis interpretation and management of a variety of data activities to support Quality initiatives.
Primary Duties:
- Meets with clinical directors as an advisor around alignment and participation with practice transformation programming.
- Maintains familiarity with external clinical quality reporting requirements and assists practices and Performance Improvement with reporting deadline adherence.
- Maintains familiarity with multiple electronic health records as needed for coaching.
- Meets reporting and data submission deadlines.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for Core Measure guidelines specifications changes and reporting requirements and accurately abstracts clinical data for core measure compliance submission and reporting.
- Functions as the data specialist for PI.
- Maintains Hospital databases and functions as a resource for reports.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Registered Nurse with valid Colorado license.
- Preferred: MSN or advanced degree/certification in quality or data analytics
Experience:
- At least 5 years in clinical setting
- At least 2 years with practice transformation or data analytics
Skills:
- Thorough working knowledge of computer applications including Excel Word and Access
- Database management
- Attention to detail time management skills effective communication skills
- Motivation to support excellence in patient care
- Preferred: Report writing skills
