As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Technology Office team you will join the Identity & Governance Administration (IGA) department as a Regional Lead Design Authority (LDA). In this role you will engage in matrix and functional reporting to the IGA Global LDA offering architecture governance solution architecture consulting and control requirement assessment/advice to the IGA product teams based in the Asia Pacific region. You will contribute to the firms IGA ecosystem encompassing Identity Request Fulfillment Collections Reconciliation Re-Certification Policy-Promoten Provisioning and Real-time Policy Decision.
Job responsibilities
- Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
- Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy
- Participates in architecture governance bodies
- Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologies
- Lead teams in designing IGA products that adhere to the best practices standards and architectural patterns of the firm and industry.
- Implement the firms architecture governance requirements throughout the IGA portfolio.
- Ensure that solutions align with the firms control and cybersecurity standards.
- Educate the Engineering teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of IGAs end-to-end design and identify and address any gaps and dependencies between modules/components.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Architecture concepts and 5 years applied experience.
- Engineering and architectural experience in medium to large enterprises.
- Experience in architecture or design authority roles.
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and related technologies.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML OAuth and OIDC as well as management protocols like SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management).
- Collaborate effectively within large teams to achieve organizational objectives with a passion for fostering an innovative culture.
- Practical experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
- Responsible for defining standards and conducting architecture reviews for development teams
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Proficiency in Sailpoint or a comparable product along with familiarity with industry-standard IAM solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and Cloudfoundry.
- Familiar in data modeling and the design and implementation of both LDAP and relational data schemas.
- Global regulatory and privacy standards relevant to financial services organizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD automation tools as well as expertise in test automation and test-driven development.
