As a result we are growing and looking to add a talented Office Assistant to our dynamic firm. As an Office Assistant you will play an important role in providing support to our staff and ensuring all daily procedures run smoothly. Additionally you will serve as Employee Engagement Coordinator participating in the Social Committee and leading the planning and execution of company group activities and events that foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.
This position requires working onsite at the Norcon office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and direct office visitors
Manage inbound phone traffic including internal routing
Manage all inbound and outbound mail and package deliveries
Ensure company and client contact information is accurate and circulated
Assist with new employee onboarding activities
Manage all aspects of office inventory including procurement and stocking
Troubleshoot conference room technology issues
Assist with all aspects of digital and physical record-keeping
Work with office and field teams to ensure supplier invoice is coded correctly
Performance project coordination tasks including COI and vendor information management system user access/logins and other tasks as assigned
Serve as the Employee Engagement Coordinator by:
Participating in Norcons Social Committee
Organizing group activities events team building and wellness initiatives and celebrations that align with Norcons values
Other projects as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be able to work from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented organized reliable and punctual
2 years of experience working in a professional setting in an administrative support role
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
High school diploma or equivalent required
