Job Description

At Apple we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design engineering finance legal marketing communications public relations market research sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to focus on an emerging space in Families and Parental Controls!Dynamic creative people and inspiring innovative technologies are the norm here. Are you passionate about creating compelling products and ready to join an amazing team Then we want to hear from you.


  • 6 years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch.


  • Experience working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams; this includes partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning and define marketing activities
  • Proven track record formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences; experience translating complex technology into powerful messaging for varied audiences including consumers media analysts and leading industry specialists
  • Deep understanding of the Families and Parental Controls domain
  • Best-in-class oral and written communication skills; the ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners
  • Strong ability to lead through influence debate and storytelling
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects effective at building consensus handles high stakes decisions with ease with the ability to cut through ambiguity
  • Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations
  • A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
  • Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level
  • Willingness to travel
  • BS/BA and/or MBA
